Edgecombe County Hospice Foundation

Hospice is a program which serves terminally ill patients and their families.  During a time of emotional and financial stress in their lives, the Hospice team provides physician, nursing, social work, spiritual and volunteer services to support the Hospice patient and family in the last months of life, helping them to live as comfortably and fully as possible until they pass.            

Contributions to the Hospice Foundation of Edgecombe County ensure that patients will have NO out of pocket expenses for things such as pain and symptom management medications, medical equipment and supplies, nutritional supplements, wheelchair ramps and other home modifications. With the support of Hospice, patients are able to stay at home in familiar and comfortable surroundings instead of being hospitalized during their final days.
